It was Friday and I had two events back to back; but the one I was really looking forward to most was The FRYE Company's Two-Year Anniversary Celebration. Caren, (Caren West PR) invited me to join this festive occasion and I absolutely RSVP'd yes! She always throws the best parties and never asks, or rather demands social media and a review, but it's understood as media there are certain things I need to commit to when accepting a media invite. Besides, how wrong would it be for me not to tell everyone about it?
Disclosure: I was invited to attend this event as media to cover the occasion. All opinions are mine and no monetary exchanges were made.
I cut out of my first event I was covering as media a little early and headed over to Ponce City Market — love the place btw. Found a parking spot pretty easy, which is kind of unusal since it's always packed. If you live in the Atlanta area you really should make a trip there, it's got a lot of great shops and some of the best restaurants in the city. There are way to many for me to list here, but you can find a complete listing in their directory.
I have an announcement to make. It's big.
I have a new FAVORITE store...
It's The FRYE Company.
are you ready to breathe it all in?
can you handle it?
I love it when I'm strolling through PCM, it makes me feel refreshed (yes, I know how that sounds.) But think about it for a moment. You know that feeling you get when you finally get to go to your "Me Time Place"? Yeah. That. Same thing. Then I walk into FRYE and instantly I'm slapped in the face with the most delicious scent ever.
Those aren't just words up there, FRYE is my new favorite store. And, I know, that picture (and the others) in this review, is probably too big for most people's tastes, but I wanted you to see what I saw. Yes, you see gorgeous shoes, boots, and a ladies bag; but look closer. What do you see? It's that American made quality and attention to detail. You can see those stitches are solid and they add depth and style to an already gorgeous design.
I could literally go on and on about the quality and detail in their designs, not to mention listing all the items I want sitting in my closet. But, I want WAY TOO MANY things and I seriously look at them and think, "I gotta have that!" So, I've made the choice to not torture myself and just give you a peak inside FRYE'S celebration party and give you a link to check out their stuff. And you do want to check out their stuff. Really. I'm not just saying this because I went to a party. I could literally spend hours in this place.

I didn't list everything in their history timeline, but it gives you a good idea how of they've evovled into an American icon. Their designs and quality of craftsmanship is above reproach, and their attention to simple but yet with detail is genius. They're like a simple statement with a powerhouse message that you can't ignore.
and it was an AWESOME party.

Not a good image, but you can still see the detail.
